Dugway Proving Grounds: Installation of over 100 monitoring wells ranging from 15' to 100'. Soil and
Groundwater sampling below confining layers and grouting out to prevent cross contamination. Soil Gas
collection using a PRT system to ensure discreet interval sampling. Pre probe at SWMU sites allowing the
pre clearance for hazardous chemical ordinance.
Perchloroethane
release site:
Continuous soil and groundwater collection to 80', install 1.5" Pre Packed monitoring wells to determine contamination of PERC. Inject HRC into different water bearing zones on 10' grid spanning 150'.
Land fills: Use of the PRT soil gas system to collect methane gas into soma canisters and tedlar bags.
Install soil gas implants to monitor methane gas levels. Soil samples to determine the thickness of cap
material and also to determine the thickness of the waste.
Gas and Service Stations: Monitoring well installation, Soil and groundwater collection for investigation, Soil
gas implants to monitor hydrocarbons around product lines and existing buildings, up to a 45 degree angle
boring to collect soil or groundwater under a dispenser or tank. Installation of air sparge systems to aid in
the clean up of contaminated soil and groundwater. Injection of ORC also to aid in the clean up of
petroleum.
Chemical Warehouse: This facility is primarily a loading and unloading facility for most chemicals on the
market today. With fork lift traffic and office space in the same location we were able to install 4" stainless
steel recovery wells using 10" auger with a 66DT. With little noise, low over head clearance and the size of
the rig we provided the warehouse with what they needed to stay in operations for their day to day
business routines.
Sparge system installation. Numerous installations at various locations. Installed groundwater sparge
points for an in-situ groundwater treatment system. As many as 200 air injection points installed on a
system.
